On Sunday, we came back with fresh heads and ears to get the drum track layed down. Early takes had a muddy mush of shit in the headsets that made focusing almost impossible, even with the most annoying metronome sound we could find cranked to deafening loudness. Frustration and thrown drum sticks made the night almost for sure a dead end. After a small break, Evans came back in with a crazy idea... With just the metronome in his headset, he played the most incredible drum take (on the first try). We couldn't fucking believe it. After a small punch-in we were done. More beer drinking.
Next on the list is getting the 27 minute "A Look Within" drums tracked. Wish us luck! To be continued...
