For a while now, we have been busting our asses in recording some of our songs for a demo. So far, we have gotten all of the drums and guitars for the vocal songs we're working on, which are: "Day of Black Sun", "ALW pt1: Through the Looking Glass" and "ALW pt 3: Madness Borne of Sorrow". As far as the instrumental "ALW pt2: Smoke and Mirrors", we still only have drums. Since we are now in need of a new singer, we feel that it is most important to finish work on the vocal tracks, so that our new singer (whoever that may be), will have something to work with.

To that end, we have had our drummer, Evans, step up and volunteer to do the temporary vocal tracking on our songs. These will be replaced by the eventual voice of our new singer. So far, he has completed work on "Day of Black Sun"... both lead and backing vox (which went better than we all had expected from a guy normally stuck behind the drum kit). Great work E.!!!

Bass parts from Dave are planned to get laid down this Sunday, and we know that will be pretty smooth. We have come to know Dave as kind of a "machine" when it comes to laying down the low end for us. Steve and I have been working when  day jobs and schedules allow to work on the basic mixing down of the instrumentation... with much satisfaction on our parts. I would expect some new songs to hit our pages in a couple of weeks (maybe sooner, who knows). This is exciting for us since there has never been any complete recordings of our songs to ever be heard on a recording... just you wait!
