So finally we have all of the instrumentation and lead vocals tracked for the songs we have been working on. Last Sunday, Dave did an excellent job on the bass lines (as expected). Yesterday, Evans finished up the lead vocal tracks (we ended up not doing the backing tracks just yet). Steve and I plan on getting together tomorrow to sit down and make some sense of what we have, and start mixing things down into listen-to-able songs. We plan to start with "Through the Looking Glass" and "Madness Borne of Sorrow", and finishing up "Day of Black Sun". The raw tracks sound killer, so we are excited about how things will end up. We will post some early mixes so there will be opportunity for everyone to sound off and let us know what you think...
